I have to admit...we were extremely bummed that we had hiked the hardest part of the trail with no pay off until.... it started HAILING!!! Wish we had listened to Sunny who recently reviewed this hike about not taking our dog (who is a crazy/strong/fit pit-lab-dutch shepherd mix) and who up until this trail had no problem with any kind of hike.
